An essential part of any fire protection service is the initial and on-going training of it personnel.

Solomon Safety committed to recruit and train the emergency service staff for the Melia Hotel.

The initial orientation and training began on Day 2 of operations. Chief Crespo was able to coordinate the first training meeting with all the Fire Brigade drivers who will be assigned to the truck during the initial temporary period. As the Fire Brigade is not yet responding to emergency calls, these drivers will move the truck to any incident during the temporary consulting period. Chief Crespo was able to make use of the new training rooms for this purpose.

Solomon Safety’s future training plans will enlist Fire Protection professionals from the United States to come to Punta Cana and train the local team.

This investment in personnel is just one part of the overall plan to protect property, guests and employees at the Melia Hotel.
