The partnership began with discussions initiated by Melia Hotels International, who sought information on acquiring fire apparatus. Through multiple trips and in-depth consultations, Solomon Safety worked closely with the hotel to fulfill their requirements.
The culmination of these efforts was marked by a press event held on Thursday, January 9, 2020, on the Melia Hotel’s property, officially announcing the partnership and the commencement of fire protection services. Solomon Safety takes pride in the creation of a dedicated Fire Station at the Melia International Hotel project in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Chief Angel Crespo, our on-the-ground operations organizer, played a vital role in gathering the necessary equipment, apparatus, and furniture to transform a basic structure into a fully equipped and functional Fire Station.
As a result, Melia Hotel now benefits from a private fire department operated by Solomon Safety’s trained personnel on their premises.
